Joe Cullan, M.D., J.D.

Dr. Joe Cullan is a physician and trial lawyer who is focused on representing victims who have been catastrophically injured. He is a graduate from Creighton Prep High School in Omaha, Nebraska (Cum Laude, 1993), the University of San Diego School of Law (J.D., Cum Laude, 2000), and the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. In addition to his legal and medical education, he has taken part in medical internships in the United States, Argentina, and Ireland.

The Royal College of Surgeons dates to the 1700’s and is recognized as a leader in medicine, surgery, and obstetrics. Dr. Cullan performed obstetrical training at Ireland’s National Maternity Hospital, trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Rotunda, and obtained a separate degree in obstetrics.

Since being admitted to practice law on July 1, 2000, Dr. Cullan has recovered tens of millions of dollars for catastrophically injured clients. In this time, he has secured record verdicts and settlements in nationally recognized cases throughout the United States.

Dr. Joe Cullan is licensed to practice law in California, Arizona, and Nebraska. Additionally, he is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys, and the Birth Trauma Litigation Group.

Success in and out of the court has brought Dr. Cullan numerous law honors. Dr. Joe Cullan along with his brother, Dr. Patrick Cullan are members of the Inner Circle of Advocates. Outside of the legal field, Dr. Cullan was a Gatorade All-American Soccer Player, recipient of the Bronco Bench Foundation Scholarship, All-State Captain Nebraska Soccer, and Scholar-Athlete Award winner while he was at Santa Clara University.
